After almost a month of being M.I.A, I am finally back and feeling more energized than ever! Over my month-long hiatus, I celebrated the wedding of my dear friend Mena (who - by the way - is a VERY talented makeup artist in Raleigh, you should see some of her work. You'll be seeing a collaboration with her here on the blog sometime soon!). I wore this pink corset top on the evening of her rehearsal dinner after stumbling upon it while in the Uniquities at North Hills. On the night of the dinner, I wore it with tight, black skinny jeans and tall black booties and slicked back my hair. Other than missing the quintessential bright pink Letterman jacket, I felt like a modern-day Pink Lady.
Ever since that night, I've been dreaming of other ways to style it before it gets too cold. I decided to lighten it up for a pretty daytime look with my milky white palazzo pants. It was just what this top needed - a wide-leg airy pant to contradict it's structured bodice. I threw on some gold bangles & my go-to Westward Leaning sunglasses for shine, and for an element of surprise, I wore my leopard printed heels from Schutz. I felt like I belonged in a Bond film set in Miami.
