Little Lacy White Dress

It's so fun when you're able to play around with your clothes, and when you find pieces that make life more simple because of their versatility. I have always loved the freshness that summer fashion brings each year; how layering can make getting dressed so simple. I think the beauty of summer is that it allows you to downplay anything in your closet from being fancy or elegant to becoming everyday-wearable. I used this idea after effortlessly layering a traditional jean jacket over this dress I found off It makes the dress a little more fun, a little more casual and a lot more versatile. Although I could easily see myself wearing this dress to baby showers or on nights out with my girlfriends, I decided to layer my mom's old Gap jean jacket with it, and made a pretty sweet and feminine day of running errands out of it!
