Sun + Sarong

I think I speak for most women when I say that bathing suit season is our most dreaded season. It takes a strong woman with a lot of self-confidence to feel beautiful in an itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny yellow polka dot bikini - and so I thank fashion for creating sarongs.

I don't think I will ever be the girl who parades around wearing just a bathing suit, so a sarong has become my go-to cover-up for the summertime. My sister purchased this one for me years ago at one of our favorite local beach shops, and we discovered several different ways to wear it. It's all about what you want to accentuate and what you want to cover-up. The key is to find what you are most comfortable wearing and what flatters your body most.

Another great way to flatter your summer body is to invest in a great quality and awesome fitting bathing suit. My Triangl bikini is made out of neoprene - aka miracle fabric. Neoprene is stiff and thick, and stays put if you like to ride the ocean waves without worrying something might fall off. It's durable and so flattering. Investing in a nice suit will pay off in the end and make you feel more confident. Trust me - spending the extra cash is worth it!
