I've been blessed at my age to have already taken part in so many great aspects of the fashion industry - design, editorial, merchandising and even some fashion psychology ... I have found that the more time I spend learning and exploring, the more creative and inspired my life becomes.
With a Bachelors degree in Fashion Design, I pride myself in having excelled in such a technical skill like clothing construction. Although I don't see myself designing full-time, I realized what a passion I have for it after guest designing for fashionSPARK this past September. I love how special and personal it is to create something, I hope I always yearn to make and to create.
I have never once worn one of my designs, but was itching to wear this mustard tunic after having it professionally photographed by Leigh Moose of Side Yard Studios. The color is electric and surprisingly flattering. I was entranced by the fluidity and movement of the fabric. It's bold and elegant, and makes me smile with pride.
I am so excited to finally share some photos from my shoot with Leigh, and even prouder to wear one of my own creations. Thank you Leigh for the editorial shoot! It was such a pleasure working with you - you are a beautiful person and such a talented photographer. If you would like to see the entire shoot directed by Leigh and I, please visit my online portfolio.
