Brushstroke Dress

With spring comes my busiest season; weddings, parties, grand openings and all sorts of other fun events. It's important to find clothing items that can go from one party to the next, and that can easily be transformed into something new if it's styled differently. I've always been attracted to bold, saturated colors, but what inspired me most about this statement dress was how versatile it could be regardless of it's unforgettable pattern.

Tonight I'm dressing up this frock for an event at Kendra Scott, but imagine it worn with a jean jacket, top knot, and strappy sandals just as well. My personal rule of thumb: always think of three different ways that you can style an item of clothing before buying it. In the end, it saves you money, and it allows for creative styling.
