Spring Vacation Vibes with Rent the Runway

Believe it or not, but the first day of spring is on March 20th! I collaborated with Rent the Runway, an online retailer that provides designer clothing available for rent, to celebrate the coming of spring and their gorgeous new arrivals.

I haven't had a getaway in quite some time, so I'm looking forward to warmer weather that warrants a beach vacation with my family. I know a lot of us in the northeast are anticipating a rise in temperatures, so I wanted to create looks that were casual and perfect to pack for tropical destinations and sandy beaches. Rent the Runway had pages upon pages of new spring arrivals; I felt as though I was getting warmer just by perusing through all their options.

I fell in love with the romanticism of this dress. I paired it with some super inexpensive (and when I say inexpensive I mean less than $20!) woven slip-on sandals I snatched from Forever 21, and called it a day. During the springtime, everything in my wardrobe transitions to lighter, thinner fabrics and I'll all about no-fuss styling. I like taking dressier options and making them more livable. I wear less makeup, and I rarely wear heels. The only accessory I added was my black straw hat that has a brim so large I don't even need sunglasses.

I'll be publishing my second look from Rent the Runway on March 20th so stay tuned! I hope this inspires you to take some time off, plan a weekend trip, or style an occasion dress into a more casual ensemble.
