Red Blazer

This red Theory blazer is one of my favorites to wear this time of year. It's color provides that sweet remembrance of fall and preps us as we move closer to Christmas (yes... I said it). It was well worth the investment, and despite it's bold color I have found it pairs wonderfully with all my patterns and textures that can be found stuffed in my closet (Side note: a quality blazer will cost you, but it will last so much longer and look brand new no matter how many times you have it cleaned. Always buy a blazer for it's quality). Next time, I hope to wear it on top of a beautiful navy jumpsuit I purchased early this summer. Something about red and navy is just so classic and so flattering. Here, I layered it on top of one of my most favorite fall sweaters. The sweater's long torso allows me to wear it with leggings or casually tuck it into pants or skirts like I did in this post; a dressed-up version of a hood-less sweatshirt, the sleeves are black sheer and it is perfect to wear to a party or ladies night out. Items like these are ones I tell all of my clients to have in their closet. I can dress for several different occasions with one simple sweater, and never wear it the same way twice.

Blazer: Theory (an awesome investment, especially if your work asks you to dress "work professional", you can find it here in black along with other styles here), Sweater: French Connection (love this option, this or even this), Skirt: J. Crew (NOW ON SALE here!), Booties: Zara (similar here and here), Earrings: Chanel (with other great vintage Chanel pieces found here), Knot Ring: Madewell (similar here or here), Sunglasses: Westward \\ Leaning
